What is it about not having a car that makes me so happy? My poor husband's truck has a broken defroster so I told him to take the van this morning because the girls and I had no place to go today. He of course, jumped on that opportunity! My van pulled out of the driveway and out of sight and was so delighted! why is that? why do I like being "stuck" at home? oh yes, I could take his truck somewhere if I HAD to....I CAN drive his truck...but, I don't want to, lol! Not having a car makes me stay home, no last minute excuses to get out of the house, no errands to run, nothing - just stay home and sometimes, I really need that.
It's 12:30 and we almost have school completed for the day. Oldest daughter has her report to type up and youngest daughter has a little history reading to do, but that's it.
